Your teachers and/or advisors must register before you will be eligible to register. AFTER they register, you can register yourself in STEMWizard.
Our web-based software, STEM Wizard, allows teachers better access to student work and students will be able to view their paperwork in almost real time. Students interested in participating at the state level will have their paperwork automatically sent to the state fair AFTER fair day. Please feel free to reach out if you have issues or questions.
CSRSEF follows most of the same rules as the International Science & Engineering Fair (ISEF). Check out the ISEF Rules & Guidelines and CSRSEF's Display and Safety Rules to learn more.
Science projects should be hypothesis-based and follow the scientific method. Engineering projects should have engineering goals and produce a product.
Many class assignments, senior projects, summer research projects, and displays created for other science competitions can be entered into the fair with minimal changes.
As an ISEF affiliated fair, all projects intended for competition at CSRSEF must receive SRC/IRB approval BEFORE they are allowed to compete.
To request review, you must:
AFTER all of your necessary documents are complete in STEM Wizard, contact the SRC to request review. Remember, YOU must initiate contact with SRC. If you fail to reach out to the SRC, you project will NOT be reviewed.
Upon receipt of your request, the SRC will be in touch with further information.
There is a Form Uploader App that you can use for STEMWizard when needing to upload forms from your phone.
Be sure to double check that the form you upload has the right information. Download the form on a computer after upload, to make sure that it is not blank and has all the right information.
